How it works
Choose your TIFF files
Drag one or more TIFFs into the workspace, or use the button. You can add PNG, WebP or JPG too.
Adjust the quality
90% keeps the image almost identical. If the TIFF has transparency, choose the color that replaces it.
Download the JPGs
The images are created on your device, one at a time. Several come in a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Are my TIFF files uploaded to a server?
No. The TIFF is read and converted in your browser and never leaves your device.
What happens to a multi-page TIFF?
Each page becomes a separate JPG, with the page number in its name (for example, “scan-01.jpg”). The images come together in a ZIP.
Why convert TIFF to JPG?
TIFF files are often large, and many phones, websites and email apps don’t show them. A JPG is smaller and opens anywhere.
Which kinds of TIFF can I convert?
The most common ones: uncompressed, LZW, ZIP (Deflate), PackBits, CCITT G3 and G4 (faxes), and JPEG, in black and white, grayscale, color, palette or CMYK. If a file uses another compression (such as JPEG 2000), MovaDoc tells you.
Do faxes keep the right proportions?
Yes. For faxes with rectangular pixels (for example, 204 × 98 dpi), the image is stretched in the direction with less resolution, so it doesn’t look squashed.
