Frequently asked questions
Is the PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The pages are cut in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
Do the pages lose quality?
No. Each page is copied as it is and only the visible area of each copy changes: text and images aren’t recompressed.
Is the hidden half deleted?
No. Each new page shows only one half, but the content of the other half is still in the file. If that half has sensitive information, don’t use this tool to hide it.
What if the scan isn’t centered?
The cut is always in the middle of the page. If the margins differ, use “Crop PDF” afterward to adjust the area of the pages.
Can I do the opposite and put two pages on one sheet?
Yes: use “Multiple pages per sheet”, which puts 2 or more pages on each sheet.
