Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The sheets are created in your browser and the PDF never leaves your device.
How many pages should I put on each sheet?
With 2 per sheet, the text is still easy to read. With 4, it’s about half the size. With 9 or 16, it’s good for an overview or for reviewing slides, but small print can be hard to read. Check the preview.
What does the “Automatic” orientation do?
It picks a landscape or portrait sheet, whichever makes the pages largest. For example, 2 A4 pages go side by side on a landscape sheet, and 4 go in a 2 × 2 grid on a portrait sheet.
Do links and form fields still work?
No. What you see on each page, including filled-in fields and annotations, is drawn on the sheet, but links and fields can no longer be clicked or edited. The text can still be selected and searched.
What if the pages don’t fill the last sheet?
The last sheet has some empty spaces. For example, 10 pages with 4 per sheet make 3 sheets, and the last one has only 2 pages.
