How it works
Choose the PDF
Drag the file into the workspace or use the button to pick it. TIFF is already selected.
Choose the resolution
300 dpi for archiving and printing, 150 dpi for reading on screen. With “One TIFF file”, you get every page together.
Download the TIFF
The pages are drawn on your device, one at a time, and added to the TIFF as soon as each one is ready.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The pages are drawn and saved as TIFF in your browser; the PDF never leaves your device.
One TIFF or one TIFF per page?
A single multi-page TIFF is what many archives and document management systems ask for. If you’d rather have separate files, turn the option off: you get one TIFF per page, in a ZIP.
Does TIFF lose quality?
No. The pages are saved losslessly, with ZIP (Deflate) compression, which image programs can open. Pages with no color are saved in grayscale, which takes up less space.
Which resolution should I choose?
300 dpi is the usual choice for archiving and printing; 150 dpi is enough for reading on screen and makes smaller files. The resolution is stored in the TIFF, so each page keeps its real size when printed.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. In “Pick from thumbnails”, select the pages you want: the TIFF will have only those, in PDF order.
