Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to any server?
No. The PDFs are merged in your browser, by code running on your computer or phone. Your files aren’t sent anywhere, and they’re cleared from memory when you close the page.
How many files can I merge?
There’s no fixed limit: it depends on your device’s memory. On a recent computer, hundreds of pages work without problems. Above about 200 MB in total, we show a warning, because processing can get slow.
Does the page quality change?
No. Pages are copied as they are: text, images, and fonts keep their original quality, and the text stays searchable.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in the browser on your phone or tablet, with nothing to install. To change the order, press and hold a thumbnail for half a second, then drag it.
Are bookmarks and forms kept?
Pages keep their original appearance. In this version, bookmarks (the outline in the sidebar) and interactive form fields from the original documents may not carry over to the final PDF.
